Effective long-term protection against mites and parasites
milbfix® is a natural bedding additive for poultry houses and keeps mites and parasites away in the long term. The product consists entirely of the multi-faceted mineral zeolite. Clinoptilolite zeolite by Lithos is a true all-rounder and is successfully used in numerous areas. The edges created during the special, very precise and fine grinding of milbfix® lead to the physical death of insects, especially the red mite. As soon as the pests crawl over the powder, they are injured and subsequently dry out. The product is completely safe for poultry, as milbfix® is made of pure, natural zeolite and is therefore free from any chemicals, additives or harmful substances.
Recommended use:
milbfix® should generally be applied in the entire shed area. Especially affected areas around the laying nests, on and under the perches, in the scratching area, all hard-to-reach crevices and corners should be generously dusted. In order to achieve the best possible effect, we recommend applying 100 -150 g/m² weekly as a preventive measure. Regular re-treatment is imperative in heavily frequented sheds. The plumage and legs of the animals can also be dusted with milbfix.
