lithopool
lithopool can be used in multiple ways, whether in a swimming pool, garden pond, swimming pond or aquarium.
Application in garden and swimming ponds
Due to its structure and ion exchange capacity, the zeolite granulate is a very effective filter medium and removes ammonium, nitrates, phosphates and suspended particles. The large, specific surface provides the optimum habitat for important bacterial cultures and microorganisms. It can be used both as a fill material and as a filter medium.
In the filter: amount and grain size according to information on the filter box (low bulk density, 50 kg lithopool correspond to 75 kg quartz sand)
In the planting and bank area: coarser grains as fill material, at least 5 cm pouring height
Application in swimming pools:
Due to its specific surface area and ion exchange capacity, lithopool filters pollutants and removes ammonium, nitrates, phosphates and suspended particles. It thus ensures better water quality in freshwater and saltwater pools. Natural pools also benefit from the large colonization area for microorganisms.
In the filter: amount and grain size according to information on the filter box (low bulk density, 50 kg lithopool correspond to 75 kg quartz sand). Backwash several times before starting the filter.
Application in aquariums:
Depending on the load, 100 to 500 g per 100 litres of water.
